The Ballad of the Knight Terror: Summary

Oscar, an airport security officer plagued by existential despair, faces a moral dilemma when pressured to racially profile travellers. Struggling with mental health issues, he contemplates suicide by swerving into an oncoming vehicle but miraculously survives the car accident, waking in Toronto General Hospital. Encountering Death himself, Oscar is bestowed with the powers and skills of Miyamoto Musashi—becoming the Knight Terror, a vigilante on a mission to combat the Plainsights (a diabolical organization). Alongside his allies—CJ and Rose—Oscar navigates the complexities of his newfound identity, grappling with moral dilemmas, inner turmoil, and the relentless pursuit of justice.
